Quasi-S Technology Sdn Bhd (Quasi-S) was incorporated on 2nd September 2008 aim to establish ourselves as the preferred independent consulting company and service provider for the supply of efficient and creative solutions. Quasi-S laboratory is accredited with ISO/IEC 17025 and registered with PETRONAS. As a one-stop lab-service solution, Quasi-S perform Metallurgical Failure Analysis and Reliability Testing such as In-situ Replication Metallography along with In-situ Hardness Testing in accordance with international standards such as ASTM and ISO.

Metallurgical Failure Analysis is the investigation of failures in metallic components or structures. The goal is to determine the root cause of the failure, which could be due to material defects, manufacturing issues, design flaws, or operational conditions. The findings are then used to generate a detailed report with recommendations to prevent similar failures in the future. This analysis requires expertise in materials science and metallurgy to ensure the reliability and safety of metallic components.

On the other hand, In-situ Replication Metallography and Hardness Testing techniques offer non-destructive and cost-effective ways to examine the microstructure and determine the hardness of metallic materials in the field. These methods provide valuable information for assessing surface defects, coatings, material quality, and compliance with hardness specifications. Both techniques are versatile tools that can be applied across various industries, enabling on-site evaluations and facilitating real-time decision-making.
