AIRWASTEWATER MANAGEMENT SDN BHD

Airwastewater Management Sdn Bhd (AWWAM) was established on 05^th July 2007 and started its business operations on 01^st April 2008. Initially, AWWAM started its business in the environmental field by offering the following scope of services to government departments and Malaysian industries:

• Provision of environmental advisory and consultancy services.
• Provision of training courses in the environmental subjects.
• Development of environmental (scheduled waste management) training modules.
• Provision of environmental monitoring services.
• Provision of field sampling and laboratory testing services.

From the very beginning of its business, AWWAM had the opportunity to be able to exploit its true capabilities, technical knowledge, expertise, and specialization in hazardous and scheduled waste management to its customers in order to build trust with them and sales opportunities.

As early as March 2005, prior to the establishment of AWWAM, the proponent of the Company had been appointed as an expert witness by the Director General of the Department of Environment (DOE) for the field sampling and testing of scheduled waste samples for the Malaysian court cases of illegal importation of the scheduled wastes in Malaysia. Since then, during the period 2005 and 2008, the proponent has been regularly invited by EiMAS and the DOE to give training and lectures to their officers and participants from the Malaysian industries on the scheduled waste management (SWM) topics.

During these early periods, AWWAM was able to establish its business and made a number of improvements to further complement its services to the Malaysian industries from 2009 to the present day into a full-fledged service provider organization that was able to achieve the following milestones:

1. Appointed as the pioneer training provider by the Environment Institute of Malaysia (EiMAS) of the Department of Environment (DOE) for the contract for managing, organizing, and conducting competency courses in the “Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management (CePSWaM)” for all the Malaysian industries from March 2009 to the present day.
2. Established its own facility for a training center known as “Pusat Latihan Alam Sekitar Malaysia (PLASMA)” at Seremban 2 and conducted the first public CePSWaM course for the Malaysian industries at PLASMA in March 2016.
3. Established an environmental field sampling and laboratory testing services full-fledged laboratory facility known as “AWWAM Environmental Laboratory Services (AELS)” at Green Technology Park, Seremban 2 on 01st April 2018.
4. Achieved and awarded a certificate of accreditation for Laboratory Quality Management System under “Skim Akreditasi Makmal Malaysia (SAMM)” MS ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for its field sampling and laboratory testing services on 11th January 2021 by the Auditors from the Department of Standards Malaysia (DSM).
5. Achieved and awarded a certificate for Malaysian Standard ISO certification of Quality Management System (QMS) under MS ISO 9001:2015 on 08th March 2022 by the Auditors from Platinum Shauffmantz Veritas International (PSVI).
6. Achieved and awarded a certificate for ISO certification of Environmental Management System (EMS) under ISO 14001:2015 on 08th March 2022 by the Auditors from Platinum Shauffmantz Veritas International (PSVI).
