Ajang Shipping S/B is a Petronas-licensed shipping company in Malaysia. We were established in 1962 as a sole proprietorship and later as a limited company in 1977. Since then, we have been providing marine craft services to the oil majors including but not limited to Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd, Sarawak Shell Berhad, ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Malaysia Inc., and PTTEP etc.
We also serve international companies involved in oil and gas and offshore activities. We own and operate our own wharf and maintenance workshop facility located along the Miri River to support our fleets e.g. DP2 diving support vessels, Accommodation Workboats, Anchor Handling Tug/ Supply Vessels, Landing Craft Tanks, Topographical Survey Vessels, Safety/ Standby/Utility Vessels, Mooring Vessels, Tugs & Barges, Fast Crew Boats and Supply Vessels.
As the marine support vessels owner and operator in the region, our field of experience includes the provision of vessels for oil rig and SBM maintenance, topographical survey, supply runs, safety/standby operations, cable inspection and maintenance, diving/ROV, hookup and commissioning support and other offshore logistics support services.
Our Safety Management System (SMS) has been accredited by the Marine Department of Malaysia as meeting the requirements of the International Safety Management (ISM) Code of Chapter IX of the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) SOLAS Convention.
