As part of the Aftermarket Agreement with the PETRONAS Group of Companies and Production Sharing Contractors, in 2007 Siemens Energy and OTEC Kemajuan Sdn. Bhd. (OTEC) has formed a local Joint Venture, Advance Gas Turbine Solutions Sdn. Bhd. (AGTS), to deliver Fleet Management Services (FMS). In 2014, Siemens Energy/OTEC restructured AGTS to take on the full scope of the PETRONAS LTSA on Siemens Energy equipment in Malaysia. This is a 57/43 Joint Venture with OTEC taking 57% share and Siemens Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. taking 43% share.
For the past 15 years, AGTS has provided technical and support services on long-term contracts in Malaysia. To execute these contracts with PETRONAS Carigali, PGB, ExxonMobil, Shell, Repsol and JX Nippon Oil, AGTS has hired a team of 54 Customer-facing personnel, Logistics specialists, Engineers, and Technicians.
Our customer base has grown to include most of the SIEMENS ENERGY Gas Compressors, Turbine, Gas Generators, and Turbo Machineries for offshore/onshore projects. In addition, our parent company, OTEC has been executing services on behalf of our principal, SIEMENS ENERGY.
