(TRL 4 onwards).

RELEVANCE TO IDENTIFIED THEMES AND FOCUS AREA

Projects must align to the
Themes and Focus Area(s)
relevant to the sector’s needs.

PROJECT DURATION AND FEASIBILITY

The project timeline, from initiation to completion, is best within 24 months.

COLLABORATION AND PARTNERSHIP

Project is encouraged to be
developed through a collaboration between a research institution and
industry.

ALIGNMENT WITH MALAYSIA'S
STIE 10x10 FRAMEWORK

Project proposals must align with one or more Technology Drivers and/or Socio-Economic Drivers outlined in Malaysia’s Science, Technology, Innovation, and Economy (STIE) Matrix.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
(IP) POTENTIAL

Projects should have a clear path to commercialization potential through IP generation.
